Press’d Red-OH tablets contained almost no 7-hydroxy. This did not come as a surprise, since Press’d markets this product as a 'powerful alternative' to 7-OH. Additionally, there was one other laboratory finding that was noteworthy about Press’d Red-OH tablets. We ordered a rigorous test to determine potency; this test analyzes the sample using chromatography and produces a graph with peaks and valleys indicating the presence of certain chemicals. In the test results, we found a peak very close to where we would expect a peak to be if the sample contained 7-OH, but upon further inspection the lab verified with certainty that the peak did not come from 7-OH. However, due to the presence of the peak, it’s likely that a less rigorous potency test would conclude that the sample contained a significant quantity of 7-hydroxymitragynine.
